Talisman?s production in Indonesia falls

Canadian firm Talisman Energy announced on Thursday that its oil and gas production from ongoing operations in Indonesia averaged 66,000 boed during the first quarter of the year, down 7 percent from the last quarter and 6 percent from the same period last year.

The decrease was ?primarily due to fluctuating market demand?, the firm said.

The firm has a 36 percent interest in the ConocoPhillips-operated Corridor block PSC in South Sumatra, a 3.06 percent interest in Tangguh LNG project in West Papua, a 25 percent interest in Jambi Merang, Jambi and 90 percent interest in Sakakemang, South Sumatra.
