Canadian firm Talisman Energy reported on Tuesday that its production in Indonesia from ongoing operations averaged 73,000 boepd in the third quarter of the year, up 4 percent from the same period last year, but down slightly from the previous quarter.

At Corridor, the first well of a three well development program spud in October and drilling is ongoing. At Tangguh, the renegotiated Fujian pricing contract, which took effect during the quarter, resulted in a realized price increase of 40 percent over the prior period.

The firm has a 36 percent interest in the ConocoPhillips-operated Corridor block PSC in South Sumatra, a 3.06 percent interest in Tangguh LNG project in West Papua and 25 percent interest in Jambi Merang, Jambi.

At Sakakemang, tendering for the 2D/3D seismic program is underway, with exploration drilling planned for 2015, the firm said. The firm obtained approval from the government in May this year to obtain a 90% working interest in the Sakakemang PSC, located between the company?s high-margin Corridor and Jambi Merang PSCs onshore South Sumatra.
