Talisman says has 2.4TCF of reserves at Corridor block

Canadian oil, gas firm Talisman Energy said its P2 working interest reserves at Corridor Block PSC onshore South Sumatra reached 2.4 trillion cubic feet equivalent (TCFE) with additional P3 reserves of 660 BCFE.

The company has 36 percent working interest at the block, which is operated by US oil, gas firm ConocoPhillips.

The Corridor block is supplying gas through pipeline to Chevron?s steamflood facilities in Duri, state gas distribution firm PGN in West Java and Batam and Singaporean customers.

Connection to multiple markets strengthens the ability to commercialize un-booked reserves, the company said, without giving further detail. (alex)
