Canadian top oil company Talisman Energy Inc. expected its Indonesian net oil and liquids production to decrease to 12,000-13,000 barrels per day in 2004 from 15,800 BPD last year. However, the decrease in liquids production is expected to be offset by increase in gas production to 135 MMCFD-140 MMCFD this year, compared to 112 MMCFD last year.

The company did not reveal the reason of oil and liquids production decline.

Talisman has 36 percent working interest in ConocoPhillips-operated giant Corridor gas block. The company also has interests in Tanjung oil block onshore South Kalimantan, Ogan Komering block and Jambi block in South Sumatra and Madura Offshore block in East Java.(alex)
