Talisman to drill deepwater block 2009

Canadian oil, gas firm Talisman Energy sad it would start drilling in its Sageri exploration block in Makassar Strait in 2009.
Santosa Kosasih, Talisman Indonsia?s Talisman VP General Affairs dan Business Services told Petromindo.Com on Thursday that the company has commitment to drill two wells on the block.
Kosasih said currently Talisman in preparing to conduct seismic on the block.
The company is awarded Sageri block early this year. The block covers an area of 3,878 square kilometres, and is situated in water depths of 2,000 meters.
Talisman is looking for partner prior to drilling. (godang)
