Talisman to drill E. Indonesia deepwater well in 2011

Canadian oil, gas firm Talisman Energy will drill one exploration well in its deepwater block in Eastern part of Indonesia this year.
The company reported on Tuesday that the Lempuk-1 well will be drilled in South Makassar part of Sageri PSC block. Talisman is the operator of Sageri PSC
According to the company, the South Makassar area has prospective resources of 15 TCF of gas. It also reported that seismic acquisition will continue in the area.
Last year, Talisman, together with operator Marathon Oil Corp. drilled two deepwater wells in Pasang Kayu block, which is located in the northern part of Sageri block.(alex)
