Tambak Lorok expects gas from Gundih to start flowing in October

PT Indonesia Power (IP) expects gas from the Gundih field operated by Malaysia?s Petronas to start flowing to its Tambak Lorok gas-fired power plant in Central Java in October of this year.
?Hopefully, gas from Gundih can start flowing in October of this year, at a volume of 50 mmscfd,? IP President Director Djoko Hastowo told Petromindo.com Friday.
He also said that IP plans to develop a CNG facility at the Tambak Lorok complex to transform excess gas into compressed natural gas for delivery to the power plant in Karimun Jawa ?We?ll compress 22 mmscfd of gas into CNG for gas fired power plant in Karimun Jawa,? he said, pointing out that the company plans to expand the capacity of existing 2 MW power plant in Karimun to 10 MW.
