Tamtama in negotiation with buyers

PT Central Kalimantan coal miner, Tamtama Perkasa, a coal unit of Barito Group is currently in a negotiation with a couple of international buyers for their coal.

"It's still unconfirmed, all is still in negotiation stage," said a source to Petromindo.com.

Tamtama with its total output of 50,000 tons per month previously stated it plans to make the first shipment before the end of this year, then ramping up production up to 100,000 tons per month next year.

its coal is mined from its concession some 45 km from the jetty near Muara Teweh, some 527 km from the jetty to Taboneo Port via Barito River. Average CV of their coal is 7,300 kcal/kg, .

Tamtama signed contract with PT Thiess Contractors Indonesia on May 2012 to provide mining services over a period of five years to support the delivery of 7.5 million tons of coal.

"Thiess is currently preparing to conduct the mining activity," the source said.
