Tanah Laut ends coal loading contract with Transcoal

PT Pelayaran Index Lines (PIL) has recently ended a coal loading contract with coal miner PT Transcoal Pacific.

However, PIL, a subsidiary of Indonesia-listed PT Tanah Laut, which is engaged in logistics and transportation of mineral commodities, said it has secured other long-terms contract. No details were given.

In June of this year, Tanah Laut said it has secured a contract from giant coal miner PT Bumi Resources to load about 2.5 million tons a year of coal from tug boats to a larger.
