Tangguh renegotiation team leaving for China

The government?s negotiation team has left for China to resume renegotiation on the contract of LNG sales from Tangguh LNG plant in West Papua to the LNG terminal in Fujian, China.
The team comprising officials from the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, upstream authority SKK Migas took flight to Fujian Thursday morning, according to a source.
?This morning, the negotiation team comprising officials from the Directorate General of Oil and Gas and SKK Migas left to resume renegotiation on the Fujian-Tangguh contract,? the source said.
China and Indonesia started the renegotiation talk in the middle of this year, but the result of the renegotiation remains unclear.
