Tangguh ships one cargo of LNG to China

A cargo of LNG was shipped on Wednesday from the Tangguh plant in West Papua to the Chinese province of Fujian, upstream oil and gas regulator BPMIGAS said

The LNG was carried by the Min Rong vessel to the LNG receiving terminal owned by China National Offshore Oil Corp. (CNOOC), Agoes Sapto Raharjo, a section head at BPMIGAS, said on Thursday, without giving further details.

Meanwhile, BP Indonesia Country Head Nico Kanter confirmed that the Min Rong vessel carrying LNG from Tangguh departed to Fujian on Wednesday.

Energy giant BP Plc, the Tangguh LNG plant operator, has signed multi-year contracts to supply LNG to several buyers, including with Korea?s POSCO and K-Power (for a total of 1.15 million tons of LNG per year) and CNOOC (for 2.6 million tons per year). (godang)
