Tangguh to deliver 16 cargoes of LNG this year

The newly-built Tangguh LNG plant in West Papua plans to ship 16 cargoes of LNG to its customers this year.

The LNG plant, which is owned by a consortium led by British energy giant BP Plc, targets to produce this year a total of 52,162 billion British thermal unit (BBTU) of gas (143 BBTU per day) and a total of 455,000 barrels of condensate (1,245 bpd), BP Tangguh LNG VP Ngurah Kresnawan said in a presentation at the House of Representatives on Thursday.
