Tangguh to send 1st LNG cargo to Fujian in two weeks

BP-operated Tangguh LNG plant is scheduled to send one LNG cargo to Fujian, China, in the next two weeks, a senior official with upstream oil, gas authority BPMIGAS said on Tuesday.
Deputy Chairman Eddy Purwanto told reporters that Tangguh has been notified that Fujian LNG receiving terminal is ready to receive Tangguh LNG cargo. One LNG cargo is approximately 150,000 m3.
Tangguh is contracted to supply 2.6 million tonnes per annum of LNG to Fujian under long-term contract.
Earlier this month, Tangguh has shipped its first cargo of LNG production to South Korea. (bernard)
