Tangguh to ship 6 cargoes of LNG in January

BP-operated Tangguh LNG will ship 6 cargoes of LNG in January to its customers in Asia and America, an official with upstream oil, gas authority BPMIGAS said on Monday.

Spokesperson Sulistya Hastuti told Petromindo.Com that two cargoes will be shipped to Sempra in North America, two to CNOOC in Fujian, China and another two to K Power and Posco in South Korea.

Tangguh is budgeted to ship 116 cargoes of LNG this year.

Sulistya said both of Tangguh?s trains re already capable of producing 70 percent of its namaplate capacity of 7.6 MTPA, but currently operations of Train-2 is being halted to release strainer at the fuel system and to set up the plant?s carbon emission. (godang)
