Tangguh Train 1 to resume normal production next week

Tangguh LNG plant Train 1 which has resumed operations last week after underwent scheduled maintenance since February, is ramping up production to normal capacity, an official with upstream oil, gas authority BPMIGAS said on Friday.

Spokesperson Elan Biantoro told Petromindo.Com that the plant is now able to process 400 MMCFD of gas from normal capacity of 562 MMCFD.

He expected that the train will reach full capacity next week.

He added that if Train 1 could resume full capacity within the targeted time, maintenance shut-down for Train 2, will be carried out in May or June this year.

Tangguh has two trains with similar capacity.(godang)
