Tangguh Train-2 resumes normal operation

Production at Train 2 of the BP Plc-operated Tangguh LNG plant in West Papua has been back to normal, an official with upstream oil, gas authority BPMIGAS said.
BPMIGAS spokesman Gde Pradnyana said that the resumption of operation of the production unit is about one month ahead of schedule. ?On June 13, the plant has resumed operation and started normal operation early this week,? he said.
Tangguh?s Train 2 had been shut down since May 2011 for scheduled maintenance.
The Tangguh LNG plant consists of two production units, Train 1 and Train 2, each with capacity of 3.8 million tons of LNG per year. (godang)
