Tangguh train-2 to undergo routine maintenance

Train-2 of the Tangguh LNG plant in West Papua Province operated by BP Indonesia is scheduled to undergo routine maintenance in April of this year, according to a company official.
Head of Unit for the Acceleration of Tangguh Train-3 Project, Agoes Sampto Raharjo Moerdi Hartono told Petromindo.com on Wednesday that the maintenance program will start early April and expected to be completed around the third week of May. No further details were provided.
The Tangguh LNG plant currently comprises of two units each with a capacity of 3.8 million tons per annum (mtpa). The company is developing a third unit (train 3) also with a capacity of 3.8 mtpa, and has appointed a consortium comprising of Tripatra, Chiyoda, Saipem and Suluh Ardhi Engineering as the EPC contractor for the expansion project, which is targeted to be completed 2020.
