Tanito misses production target on heavy rain

East Kalimantan coal miner PT.Tanito Harum sees its 2007 coal production to miss target by 20-30 percent this year due to continuing high rainfall on its mine area.
?Tanito is expected to produce a little over 3 million tones this year, down from initial target of 3.5 million tones, General Manager Hiu Kirtiadi told Petromindo.Com.
He said that high level of rain had hit the mine since the beginning of this year and still continuing.
According to Hiu, Tanito produced 2.7 million tones of coal last year.(alex)
