Tanjung Jati B coal tender attracts four bidders

Recent coal supply tender held by PLN?s Tanjung Jati B 2x660-MW power plant has attracted four bidders, which are scheduled to submit their sealed bids on March 4, 2008.
Tanjung Jati B Fuel Manager Chris Leo Manggala told petromindo.Com that tender participants are East Kalimantan coal mining firm PT.Berau Coal, South Kalimantan miner PT.Antang Gunung Meratus and two other trading firms which names he did not disclose.
Chris said winner(s) will be announced on March 5, 2008.
Tanjung Jati B, which is located in Jepara, Central Java, early this month opened re-tender to supply 300,000-1 million tonnes of 5,100 CV coal for a period of one year commencing May 2008. (denny)
