The gross production of Tanjung Miring Timur TAC field in Prabumulih, South Sumtra stood at 22,138 barrels in the second quarter of the year, a 13 percent decrease from 25,381 barrels in the previous quarter, Singapore-listed Interra Resources, the operator of the field, announced on Tuesday.

?In-house TMT field studies with respect to reservoir engineering and field production infrastructure are underway to determine the cause and solutions to resolve the current decline in production,? the company said in a statement filed with the Singapore Stock Exchange.

The interpretation of approximately 40 square kilometers of 3D seismic data over the field was completed during the second quarter, the firm said.

The ultimate objective of the 3D acquisition and interpretation was to delineate drillable locations for this and future years. Four drilling locations have already been identified and, following regulatory approval, material procurement and surface drill site clearance has commenced for two, the company said.
