Singaporean service company Tat Hong Holdings Ltd said Monday its 50 percent-owned subsidiary Tat Hong Energy Pte Ltd had fully delivered mining equipment needed by PT Gunungbayan Pratamacoal (GBP).

Under the leasing agreement with GBP, Tat Hong Energy is required to provide a number of mining equipment, including 250 ton excavators, 120 ton excavators and 90 ton dump trucks for GBP and its affiliates for a leasing period of five years.

GBP and its affiliates will use the equipment at three concession areas in East Kalimantan.

Tat Hong earlier said the leasing contract would generate an estimated S$119 million in leasing revenue

Tat Hong, through another joint venture company, has also secured a three-year contract worth S$41 million to provide open cut mining services for PT Kartika Selabumi's coal mining concession in East Kalimantan.

The contract is effective as of mid-June, 2005, according to Tat Hong. (Robert)
