The plan of development (PoD) for the project, submitted in November last year, is expected to be issued in April this year.
Head of BPMIGAS for South Sumatera Region, Elan Biantoro, said the development of the field will be divided into two parts, the work-over of existing wells and the drilling of four new wells. During this phase, the operator will lease production facility, evaluating the performance of the field and transporting crude oil through land transportation and pipes to Plaju.
The second phase would be drilling additional six development wells, construction of permanent production facilities and transportation of crude oil through barge vessel to Plaju. ?Hopefully the production will rise to 2,500 bopd in 2013,? Elan said.
