Technics secures S$6.15 million gas compressor contract

Singapore compression system firm Technics Oil and Gas Limited announced on Monday that its subsidiary Technics Offshore Engineering Pte Ltd has been awarded with a Purchase Order and Supply Agreement worth S$6.15 million in Indonesia for the supply of a Gas Compressor Package.
The Company did not give detail about the Indonesian client.
The Company said the contract is the first major project for an MNC player in the
Indonesian market.
Besides the supply of gas compression equipment, Technics will also undertaking the supply of start-up spares, local fabrication service content, auxiliary electrical systems and delivery to site location.
This project is targeted to take place in the first quarter of 2011. (alex)
