Ten companies pass selection to build PLN?s pipeline

State owned electricity company PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) has selected ten companies and joint ventures to build a 7.2-kilometer gas pipeline from Muara Bekasi to its Muara Tawar combined cycled power plant in
The pipeline will forward gas supplies to the power plant from the South Sumatra-West Java pipeline being built by state owned gas distribution company PT Perusahaan Gas Negara (PGN) that will end in Muara Bekasi.
The ten companies and joint ventures that passed the prequalification process are PT Citra Panji Manunggal, PT Rebana, PT Rekayasa Industri, PT Titis Sampurna, the joint venture of PT Nindya Karya and PT Promatcon, the joint venture of PT Waskita Karya and PT Kelsri, PT Man Forrostal Indonesia, the joint venture of PT Barata Indonesia and PT Wahana Putra Margaswadaya, the joint venture of PT Walinusa, PT Moeliadi and PT Krakatau Engineering and the joint venture of PT Adhi Karya and PT Meta Epsi Engineering.
The companies have to submit their bidding proposals by July 13, PLN’s primary energy and power generation Tonny Agus Mulyadi said on Friday. (Godang)
