Ten firms compete for contracts to supply coal to Suralaya

PT Indonesia Power, the operator of Suralaya power plant in Banten, has shortlisted 10 companies in the pre-qualification phase of the tender for 3-year contract(s) to supply between 4 and 5 million tons of coal per year to the power plant.

According to company?s operation director Achmad Sadikin, the selected bidders are PT Natuna Energy, PT Oktasan, PT Lintas Kalimantan, PT Risna Karya, PT Artha Daya, PT Berau Coal, PT Central Korporindo, PT Arutmin Indonesia, PT Kideco Jaya Agung and PT Kasih Industri.

Achmad said the firms should submit their bids by July 27.

Achmad earlier said the winner(s) is scheduled to be announced in August. (dino)
