Tender for 2014 subsidized fuel distribution underway

Competition is on again for rights to distribute subsidized fuels next year, with July 23 set as the deadline for interested companies to obtain tender documents from BPH Migas, the downstream regulator.
"Several companies have taken the documents. But there's no way to tell how many firms will participate. We just have to wait until July 23," said Director of Oil Fuel at BPH Migas Djoko Siswanto to Petromindo.com.
Among the participants so far are PT Pertamina, PT Aneka Kimia Raya and PT Surya Parna Niaga.
"It looks like Total Oil Indonesia and Shell are interested as well," added Djoko.
