Tender for E. Kalimantan mini LNG project to be held in Q4 2013

PT Perta Daya Gas, a joint venture between state-owned electricity firm PT PLN and PT Pertagas, is currently making preparations to hold tender in the fourth quarter of this year for front end engineering design (FEED) work for the planned Simenggaris mini LNG project in Nunukan, East Kalimantan.
The mini LNG facility is scheduled to be on stream in 2015.
?We?ll probably open the tender for the FEED of the Simenggaris mini LNG project in the fourth quarter of this year. We?re still drafting the terms of reference,? President Director of PT Perta Daya Gas, Tammy M. Sumarna told Petromindo.com Monday. He did not provide further details.
Senior Vice President of Gas at state-owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina, Salis Aprilian previously said that the JOB PT Pertamina Hulu Energi-PT Medco EP Simenggaris were making preparations to hold tender for engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) work of the planned gas pipeline to Nunukan.
?Hopefully, there will be agreement soon. If everything goes smooth, on stream expected in 2015,? Salis told Petromindo.com.
