Tender: Govt offers 20 blocks in first 2010 tender

ANNOUNCEMENT
1st PETROLEUM BIDDING ROUND YEAR 2010
Directorate General of Oil and Gas (MIGAS) releases 20 acreages for tender in the 1st Petroleum Bidding Round Year 2010, and hereby invites interested companies with sufficient financial and technical capabilities to participate in the regular tender and direct proposal tender.
Followings are 14 blocks being offered in regular tender mechanism:
1. Sokang Block, offshore Natuna
2. South Sokang Block, offshore Natuna
3. South East Baronang Block, offshore Natuna
4. Nias Block, offshore North Sumatra
5. Sunda Strait II Block, offshore Sunda Strait
6. Sunda Strait III Block, offshore Sunda Strait
7. Sunda Strait IV Block, offshore Sunda Strait
8. South Kangean I Block, offshore East Java
9. South Kangean II Block, offshore East Java
10. South West Makasar Block, offshore South Sulawesi
11. North Bone Block, onshore/offshore South Sulawesi
12. Wokam I Block, offshore Papua
13. Wokam II Block, offshore Papua
14. Digul Block, onshore Papua
Additionally, based on the joint study which has been done between MIGAS and several companies, 6 blocks also being offered in the direct proposal tender mechanism, they are:
1. North Sokang Block, offshore Natuna
2. East Baronang Block, offshore Natuna
3. Titan Block, offshore East Java
4. Bone Block, offshore Bone Bay
5. Onin Block, offshore/onshore West Papua
6. North Arafura Block, offshore/onshore Papua
Interested companies are invited to participate and access Bid Document
(one Bid Document correspond to 1 (one) block) issued by MIGAS.
Accessing for regular tender?s Bid Document shall be made not later than
November 5, 2010, whereas accessing for direct proposal tender?s Bid Document shall be made not later than August 24, 2010.
Interested companies which consider being qualified and capable as required in this tender qualification and intend to participate in the tender shall submit their Participating Document on November 8, 2010 (for regular tender) and on August 25, 2010 (for direct proposal tender) between: 09:00-14:30 hours to this following address:
