Tenggara, Elnusa may cooperate to explore E. Kalimantan block

Malaysian oil company Tenggara Oil Bhd. may step up cooperation with PT. Elnusa, a subsidiary of state oil and gas company PT. Pertamina by jointly exploring an exploration block in East Kalimantan which had just been awarded to the latter, Malaysian daily Business Times reported Wednesday.
Elnusa had just been awarded Bangkanai block in East Kalimantan.
Tenggara and Elnusa had signed a memorandum of understanding in October 2003, in which both companies agreed to explore cooperation in upstream and downstream sector in Indonesia and Malaysia. (*)
