Novrizal, a mining official at the Jambi provincial office, said that almost all of the mining companies which temporarily shut down their operations last year due to the fall of coal prices remained inactive until now.
?Only coal mines in Bungo are still active because they mostly produce high calorie coal,? he said. According to him, of the 17 mining companies in Bungo regency, only five which are still shut down.
