TEP: Construction of Ario Damar field to start this month

PT Tropik Energi Pandan (TEP) said it is currently finalizing tender process to select the EPCI contractor for the construction of production facilities at the Ario Damar field in Pandan block, on shore South Sumatra.

TEP General Manager Lukis Agung told Petromindo.com that construction of production facilities are expected to start this month, with a target to be on stream end of this year. TEP is the operator of the block, holding 100 percent interest.

He added that the company completed in the middle of last year the front end engineering design (FEED) of the field.

In accordance with the plan of development, the Ario Damar field is designed to have production rate of 2,000 bopd and 20 mmscfd of gas.
