TEPCO to develop geothermal energy in Indonesia

Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources stated that a consortium led by Japan firm Tokyo Electric Power Company (TEPCO) is interested to develop geothermal energy in Indonesia.
"We are grateful that the consortium has expressed interest in developing geothermal energy in Indonesia. The Japanese consortium is willing to use the geothermal power themselves," Director of Geothermal at the Directorate General of New and Renewable and Energy Conservation Tisnaldi told Petromindo.com.
Tisnaldi did not specify the members of the consortium nor the geothermal area the consortium is eying.
