Total EP Indonesie (TEPI) said it is currently in the process of installing three new platforms at the Sisi Nubi 2B and Peciko 7B fields, and another platform at South Mahakam-3 field, all in the Mahakam block in a bid to help arrest declining output at the maturing part of the block.

?In Sisi Nubi 2B and Peciko 7B fields there will be three additional platforms, and in South Mahakam-3 one new platform, all in the Makaham PSC,? TEPI Head of Media Relations, Kristanto Hartadi told Petromindo.com Friday.

Kristanto said that Sisi Nubi 2 and Peciko 7B are expected to be on stream in the second semester of 2014, while South Mahakam 3 in the second semester of 2015. ?The various development are not intended to increase production, but to arrest declining production in the Mahakam block which has entered maturing phase,? he said.

Elsewhere, TEPI is currently evaluating the drilling results of the Anggrek Hitam well in the South West Bird Head Papua block in Papua, amid indication of dry hole, Kristanto said.
