Terregra eyes solar power plant project

IDX-listed power company PT Terregra Asia Energy Tbk is eying solar power plant projects in Sumatra as the company participates in tender unveiled by state-owned electricity firm PT PLN recently, Bisnis Indonesia reported on Wednesday.

?The company has submitted the PQ (pre-qualification documents),? said Terregra Corporate Secretary Christin Soewito to the paper, but did not provide details.

PLN in May opened tender for the development of solar power plants scattered in Sumatra with combined capacity of 167.58 MW.

Terregra is currently developing four mini hydro power plant projects in North Sumatra, which are targeted to be completed in 2021. (*)
