Thai coal importer and distributor Asia Green Energy (AGE) may float its shares in Indonesia.

Bangkok Post reported Managing Director Phanom Kuansathaphorn as saying that listing on the Indonesia Stock Exchange was recommended by AGE's financial advisers as a means to acquire stakes in local coal mines.

AGE has been speaking with five sellers of mines on Borneo and Sumatra, with one deal expected this year, the report said.

AGE sources coal mainly from Indonesia for sale in Thailand and re-export to China.(*)
