Thai PTTEP secures bath 332 million profit from Medco in Q3 2002

Thailand energy company PTT Exploration and Production Public Company Limited (PTTEP) said on Friday it had secured profits of THB 332 million or approximately US$7.65 million during the third quarter of 2002 from its affiliate company PT Medco Energi International Tbk.

PTTEP said this profits was approximately 11 percent accounted for its total net profits of 3,075 million in the quarter.

PTTEP holds 40 percent shares in Mauritus based commerce company New Links Energy Resources Limited which holds 85.51 percent shares in PT Medco. (robert)
