Thamrin Sihite poised to become director general of minerals and coal

The government has issued a letter to appoint Thamrin Sihite Director General of Minerals and Coal at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, according to a geovernment source.
Thamrin is now head of the training and education center of the ministy and also acting Director General of Minerals and Coal, replacing Bambang Setiawan, who retired on April 1.
The source said Thamrin is likely to be installed in the near future. (Godang)
