Thiess signs $393 million contract with Tamtama

Under the contract, Thiess would support the expected coal production of 7.5 million ton of Tamtama in the latter mine site in Muara Teweh, Central Kalimantan with the operation is slated to be commenced on the second semester this year.
?This contract is in line with out strategy to continue growing our business in Indonesia. The project is recognition on the expertise of Thiess,? President Director of Thiess Roy Olsen said.
It is the second contract secured by Thiess in the Central Kalimantan this month.
Thiess previously signed a $44 million contract with PT Lahai Coal (IndoMet Coal), a joint venture between BHP Billiton and Adaro Energy Tbk, for the development of the Muara Tuhup port and access road infrastructure in Central Kalimantan.
