Three companies to build power plant in West Nusa Tenggara

At least three investors have signed a cooperation contract with West Nusa Tenggara provincial administration to invest in power sector, the Investor Daily Indonesia newspaper reported in its Thursday edition.
?From a list of 23 offers submitted by the investors, only three investors were selected to build a coal-fired power plant in West Nusa Tenggara,? the province?s National Development Planning (Bappeda) chief Faturrahman said in Mataram on Wednesday.
The 2x25 megawatts (MW) power plant will be build at Tanjung sub district in West Lombok area. The plant?s construction will begin in 2005 and completed in 2007.
PT Dianlia, a domestic electricity company, is one of the three investment companies. The paper didn?t reveal how much investment is needed to build the above power plant.(*)
