Three gas deals signed

Three gas sale and purchase agreements (GSPAs) were signed on Monday between gas producers and consumers, providing the state with revenue of US$61.37 million from its share of the production sharing contract, the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources said in a statement.

The signing was made on the sidelines of a gas industry stakeholders gathering in Bali.

The statement said that the gas deals involved the following.
1. PT Pertamina EP and PT Sinergi Patriot Bekasi for the supply of 3.5-5 million cubic feet per day of gas for four years to be used in power plant.
2. ConocoPhillips (Grissik) Ltd and PT Odira Energi Karang Agung for the supply of 0.7-1 British Thermal Unit per day of gas for eight years to be used for oil lifting.
3. PT Pertamina EP and PT Pusri for the supply of 17 million cubic feet of gas for two years to be used as raw material for fertilizer production.
