BPMIGAS Deputy for Operation Control Gde Pradnyana said that the three projects are expected to provide additional oil production of 14,357-17,087 bpd.
He said the three projects include the Gundih field owned by PT Sumber Petrindo Perkasa with estimated production of 239-470 bpd; and the South Mahakam Fase-1 and South Mahakam Fase-2 operated by Total E&P Indonesie, which respectively to have estimated production of 12,509 bpd and 1,609-4,104 bpd.
Elsewhere, Gde said that in a bid to help achieve the national oil production target of 900,000 bpd next year, BPMIGAS will also strive to further reduce production loss due to unplanned shutdown, which this year is estimated to decline to 10,000 bpd from last year?s 15,000 bpd. ?Next year, we?ll further reduce this figure to as low as possible,? Gde said.
One of the ways to help realize this target is by increasing the CSR funds to help minimize disturbance coming from the local communities, Gde said. (*)
