Three participants bid to develop Suralaya blending facilities

PT Indonesia Power, a subsidiary of state electricity firm PLN said on Thursday that three participants have submitted bids in a tender to build computerized coal blending facility at its Suralaya power plant complex in Banten province.

President Director Tonny Agus Mulyantono told Petromindo.Com that the participants are: 1) PT Melu Bangun Wiweka and PT Bukaka consortium, 2) PT Rekayasa Industri, Global Hadi Tech and Tracon Indonesia Consortium and 3) Robert Schaefer.

He did not say when the winner will be announced.

The Scope of works of the Project consist of design, EPC and commissioning of a complete set of a Computerized Coal Blending System and integration of such system with the existing coal handling facilities in Suralaya coal-fired power plant, including interfacing materials and devices, that are capable to supply approximately 2,000 ton/hr blended coal to 7 units of the Suralaya.
