Three workers died in Pertamina work accident

Three workers died and four suffered from serious injury in a work accident at Pertamina?s Refinery Unit (RU) IV in Cilacap, Central Java, Republika daily reported on Wednesday.

Ruseno, the spokesman for Pertamina?s Refinery Unit IV, confirmed that three contract workers died and four were seriously injured after falling into a sludge oil tank when conducting a regular cleaning of the refinery?s crude oil storages on Tuesday. He said that the four injured workers were being treated at the Cilacap Pertamina hospital.

The workers who died in the accident are Chen Liang from Jakarta, Doni from Tanjung Balai Karimun, and Rafli Rio Basla from Payakumbuh, West Sumatra, while the four injured workers are Ari Dana Prabowo from Tangerang, Turyono from Ciamis, Fahmi Hendaraji from Pekanbaru, and Sastro also from Pekanbaru.
