Coal mining company PT Thriveni, a subsidiary of Indian mining firm Thriveni Earthmovers, and other coal mining companies operating in Jambi are expecting to soon be able to use the road network in the province to haul their coal.

C.Kumaresan, Thriveni's Country Head in Indonesia told Petromindo.com on Friday that currently they are still negotiating with the Jambi provincial government.

"We are currently in negotiation with the local Government on the matter. Hopefully we can again use the roads as soon as possible," he said.

The provincial government has imposed moratorium on the use of the roads on the province for coal hauling starting Jan. 1, 2014.
