Thriveni on track to meet output target

Coal miner PT Thriveni Group said that its two mines in Jambi and Palembang are on track to meet this year?s output target of 2.5 million tons.
?Yes, as of today, we are going well. The total group production will be 2.5 million tons for 2017,? C. Kumaresan, Thriveni?s Country Head in Indonesia told Petromindo.com on Monday.
He said that the company?s mine in Jambi is expected to produce 1. 5 million tons this year with the monthly average output of about 130,000 tons, higher than the last year?s average of 100,000 tons per month.
?In Palembang site, we produce about 100,000 tons per month,? he said, adding that the current stable market has led the company to meet its monthly output.
The company focuses to sell coal to domestic and China markets.
