Thriveni to resume production after Idul Fitri holiday

Coal mining company PT Thriveni, a subsidiary of Indian mining firm Thriveni Earthmovers, through its subsidiary PT Minemex Indonesia, an IUP?s holder in Sarolangun Jambi Province, stated that it will resume its coal production after the Idul Fitri holiday.

C Kumaresan, Thriveni?s Country Head in Indonesia told Petromindo.com that the company will resume its coal production activity in Sarolangon Jambi once the Idul Fitri?s holiday is over.

?Due to the increasing demand from our customers for our coal, we decided to resume the production after the Idul Fitri holiday. The stoppage of production occurs only on temporary basis during this fasting month,? he said.

Earlier, Kumaresan stated that it has halted its coal production in Jambi due to the drop of coal prices the worst-ever level. Initially the company expected to resume its coal production by October of this year.
