Tiara Bumi Petroleum postpones campaign drilling to Q2 next year

PT Tiara Bumi Petroleum has postponed the campaign drilling plan for two exploration wells in the West Air Komering block, Ogan Komering Ulu regency, South Sumatra, to the second quarter of next year, said an official of upstream oil and gas authority SKK Migas.
?The two wells which are back to back with development well of Sampurna-1 should be drilled in the end of this year,? Head of Exploration Division at SKK Migas Indro Purwaman told Petromindo.com on Friday.
The firm, said Indro, has decided to postpone the drilling plan due to the approval of plan of development (POD) from Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources came too late.
?In addition, the location of nearby wells was flooded,? he added.
