Tiarabumi postpones drilling of NE-2 well

PT Tiarabumi Petroleum has postponed a planned drilling of the NE-2 well at the West Air Komering block in South Sumatra.

"No drilling (of NE-2 well). Until now there has been no acquisition of land for the activity," SKK Migas' Chief Representative for southern Sumatra Tirat Sambu Ichtijar told Petromindo.com on Wednesday.

He added if the company is ready with the drilling plan, it will certainly be submitted to SKK Migas.

Tiarabumi initially planned to drill the NE-2 development well in early April of this year. The NE-2 development well is located at Peninjauan District, Ogan Komering Ulu Regency, South Sumatra.

The West Air Komering block was awarded to Tiarabumi on March 22, 2007.
