The tie-in work in Sumpal expansion project within the Corridor Block, which is developed by ConocoPhillips in South Sumatra, has been completed earlier than expected.

"The tie-in work has been completed. Six hours faster than scheduled,? upstream authority SKK Migas Operational Control Deputy Muliawan told Petromindo.com in Jakarta on Friday afternoon.

The tie-in work was started on Monday, 1st July 2013, and was scheduled to be finalized on Friday, 5th July 2013.

Muliawan said they expect there will be additional gas production of 155 mmscfd. ?But we can only confirm that tomorrow, as we will only receive the additional gas tonight,? he said.

SKK Migas has earlier reported that the Sumpal expansion project is targeted to be on stream in September this year.
