Tiga Baji aims to produce 1.6m tons of nickel ore in 2013

Nickel mining company PT Tiga Baji has set a target to produce 1.6 million tons of nickel ore this year from two concessions in Morowali Regency, Central Sulawesi, and in Central Halmahera Regency, North Maluku.
?From Morowali (concession) we plan for production to reach 600,000 tons, and from Central Halmahera we plan for 1 million tons,? Tiga Baji CEO, Anton Santoso told Petromindo.com last week.,
Anton said that the company would export its entire nickel ore production to China as the country continues to aggressively develop its various industries, which will require huge supply of nickel.
?But until now, we?re still trying to obtain the export quota from the government,? he said.
